“Though Christ a thousand times in Bethlehem be born, if he’s not born in thee, thy soul is all forlorn.” Angelus Silesius (1634 – 1677)
Christmas is our story—through telling of Jesus’ birth it illuminates the dawning of awareness of the Christ presence in ourselves. The Christmas story tells of the possibility and indeed the certainty that we human beings are in the process of creating God’s world of good right here in earth—in our very humble lives. In this participatory class we will focus on the inner meaning of the Biblical account of Jesus’ birth, metaphysically interpreting this ancient story. We will use prayer, discussion, role plays, reflection, and personal growth exercises to explore the Christmas within ourselves. Join us for a fresh and meaningful experience of Christmas!
